NIGHT CROSS : 5K XC RACING UNDER LIGHTS
Night Cross is cross-country for everyone!
Forget your memories of school cross country past; night cross is different.
Short and fast laps ensure you are looping past the supporter vibes every few minutes.
A party atmosphere out on the course with our DJ will be cranking the tunes throughout the night,
and the bar will ensure the good times flow post-race!
Our community races are for all runners, so come for a run and stay for a party!
Our seeded Mastercam Women’s and Men’s Elite races are for the competitive racers out there!
Prize money is available for the fastest men and women around the course.
Anyone can enter; you don’t have to be a club member to run Night Cross.

Community Races: Our Night Cross option for all runners. If you can run a 5k between 20 and 35mins, you will be right at home in our Community Races.
Women’s A Race: For our elite women. Time guide of sub 20 minutes for a 5k.
Mastercam A race: For our elite men, you know the drill. Sub-16-minute 5ks are right at home here. -
Night Cross has a total merit prize pool of $1600. This is evenly split across men and women.
The fastest three men and women over the course will be eligible for these prizes.

ASICS has come to the party! We’ve got ASICS.com vouchers on offer, four of them! They will be drawn between 9pm and 9:45pm in increasing amounts from $100 to $400.
You must be in attendance at the prize-giving to receive the spot-prize -
Entries for all races are $40.
Entries include the race, your Night Cross bib, our free race images, and the chance at spot prizes.
Entries open soon. Late entries are taken at our discretion and with a late fee. -
Thanks to Northern Rovers FC, we have a fully licensed venue on site. Serving various food and drinks (incl non-alcholic) throughout the evening. Drink specials will be on offer as well.
The purchasing of alcohol is strictly 18+ in accordance with NZ law. -
Our photographer, Michael Dawson, will be on site capturing the evening. The full gallery of images will be available to you post-race as part of your entry fee.

More free-flowing running, more time in the finish chute lights, all in 5 easy-to-count laps.
